Madara's introduction ruined Obito and Nagato, anyone else agree?

Obito and Nagato when they were known as Tobi & Pein used to be epic (they still are, but not as much as they were before). Then Madara was introduced and Obito and Nagato were pretty much just reduced to pawns of Madara. The Rinnegan was something I always remembered Nagato by but now that Madara has it, it's just lost its uniqueness. And Obito was foreshadowed to be Naruto's greatest obstacle but then Madara comes and steals the spotlight. Who else agrees?

The Invasion of Pein arc was the last great arc of the series, so I am going to have to agree.

Obito being Tobi was the worst thing to happen in the entire manga series, and the whole Rin shit afterwards only made it worse.

Tobi was and always will be a better character than Obito, if that makes any sense to you.

Madara has zero connection towards any of the main characters and would make the worst final villain possible.

Madara completely wrecked what was left of Nagato after his humiliation of talk no jutsu, being Obito's pawn, and then Kabuto not controlling him right.

Obito mostly destroyed himself....all his attempted bantering after they had already rejected him was just so childish IMO. But yeah this recent chapter has pretty much made Obito a pawn too.

I don't think he destroyed himself that much, it's just that Madara's influence made him look weak

i think just having sakura in the anime ruined everything because all she did in the pain arc was cry and wait for naruto she could of saved at least 4 or 6 lives if she never cried

I was honestly willing to buy into that, but between Rin being the trigger that told him life sucks and his constant "give up spouts" ESPECIALLY the Rock Lee one just made me face palm. Had Rin actually loved him maybe it would be acceptable, but the fact she didn't as well as the fact it really became a core component of his justification of this world's cruelty was not great imo.

Considering how traumatized he was, Madara's influence was ok with me though yes it did take away a tiny bit of his character.

Kabuto, i like you dude, but it is your fault. Obito wasn't going to revive madara, Madara totally messed up plans and screwed him over at the end.
