Black zetsu got beat by fodder for one. Two obito resisted madaras "trump card" with zero chakra and a hole in his chest. Madaras plan would have FAILED had kabuto not revived him.

Go read the manga again,madara himself said "I would be lying if I said everything went acc. to my plan,but BEGGaRS can't be chosers". Unless manga says otherwise,madara was a goner without kabuto.

Top 3 hell no top 5? Yes kabuto makes it with or without edo. Infinite sage mode, practically immortal, cant be hurt by physical attacks, immune to genjutsu except deus ex macjina no jutsu, island sized snake summon, speed blitzing, reflexes, chakrs palms that can cut through people and tayuyas genjutsu plus more. Quite easily top five.

I got a question: Would black zetsu be able to control obito if obito was in full power? I mean, remember when madara tried to control obito(when obito came back from kamui dimmension)? Obito(via rin memories power) was able to withstand and overcome madara's control. Instead of doing rinne tensei hand seals, he did another seal to seal the juubi. So, was black zetsu going to wait for obito to be very weak and then he'd try to control him.

Black and White Zetsu can double team Obito to turn him in a vulnerable state. Don't forget that White Zetsu can get inside someone unnoticed and when inside he can drain a person's chakra. That would leave someone on a vulnerable state for Black Zetsu to easily take over and control.

@Bold: He needed SM because only Senjutsu works on Juubi's Jinchuuriki. He then notes with Senjutsu, he could over power him with his trump card(Black Zetsu).

The rest is moot because of Madara's statement.

No he said he would stop him with SM first. theres no way Black zetsu is overpowering Obito without someone to weaken him in some way.

Obito didn't overcome Madara's control. Minato broke the control. If you look closely:

-Madara was shining light.
-Edo Tensie cracks were disappearing.

It all suggests he wasn't over coming the control, because if he did, then how did Madara not notice despite his Chakra was running through him. Madara said he failed THE MOMENT MINATO CUT OFF OBITO'S ARM. Obito never broke the control. So the black Zetsu can control him anytime.
