Madara's Hideout (Old & Now)

I think this hideout evolved, no doubt about that.

But before I begin, I think the Gedo Mazo (Specifically here) evolves time to time depending on how many chakra it is given.

Madara created this room for the sole purpose to keep him alive, nothing more than that.

Hashirama Cells is said to have very powerful physical energy, that can make you live long. So Madara recreated Hashirama's Vessel as a main source to keep him alive, this vessel is hooked up with the Gedo Mazo to reproduce his cells, aka the Zetsu's.

As long Madara's body is connected to this system he made, he can still live longer.


Madara failed to re create Mokuton within his body though, Orochimaru completed this for him through years of research.

It seems that the hideout has been expanded, or perhaps even moved, or it has always been that way since Madara built it.
I expect Obito made a few adjustments to it once Madara passed away.

He could have easily broken away from the statue, became a Grass shinobi to gain information (What he does best) and then he came back to the Akatsuki. Like Itachi but working for the other side.

This reminds me of that pic of PS, where on Mangapanda it looks terrible but *********** it looked great. I doubt we will have a good stable image of either of these scenarios in a couple weeks.
