I know many people are confused about the whole Madara/Tobi/Nagato association. That's why I made a tread to share my view on the whole issue cause I think some people have forgotten some few facts.
Madara definitely died during the fight with hasirama cause hashirama wouldn't get tricked into believing someone would be dead Even though he is not plus he has medical knowledge. Madara also confirmed that he died there.
The fact that madara appears in a young state also confirms that he died before obito and nagato was birth.
The only living creature who can live between madaras period up till now is Zetsu!!
I think he died during the fight against hashirama but at that time he had Zetsu who collected his eyes. I think Madara was dead but not fully he had a tech similare to Orochimaro but which lets him speak to people. Obito was rescued by zetsu and was later introduced to madara. Madra also conducted zetsu or tobi or both (as zetsu is a good spy who can identify a good candidate) to plant his eyes in nagato. He also trained and brainwashed Obito in order to be resurrected again.
I know I don't have any proof but since some people think madara appeared earlier I can't just sit back cause Just tell me why would he wear a mask and then got beaten by minato? Or Why would he wait since hashrama is not around. Madara is a boss who won't wait if a battle is on!! He would be happy to be in any battle
