Never considered it this way but it's still FAR from good writing.

I feel like this is a case of creative damage control, Kishimoto was rushing and almost definitely never considered this dramatic irony...but it also is a gorgeous idea.

agreed but there's good payoff for his villainous character flaws. Many naruto fans saw his elitism as a role model material I think and these points make all his personality traits exposed and worth it. Perhaps they should've pushed it more..

I think a fight beforehand would've eased the shock. If Zetsu took Madara mid-battle and damaged from Naruto and Sasuke's assault, the lash out wouldn't be nearly as hard, though it would diminish the idea of Madara falling from his highest point a bit.

Your statement is half-baked. Yes it's ridiculous that BZ was able to impale Madara. But you forgot to add his move brought back Kaguya (not kill Madara), which was always going to happen after Madara had activated Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Who said the Japs would become a superior(referring to underestimating) culture by adhering to our values or our perceptions. If you want to judge the Japanese and their writing style it should be in light of their method not yours.
