If he died in his battle with Hashirma and stayed dead, yes. But by the time he finally died? Probably not. But that's just me.

I really think Madara really needed to be saved, even if he caused his own problems...All he needed was a bit of love and understanding, that was hinted to us with Hashirama,Mito and Obito (and SO6P)...It's fair, because he acknowledged his wrongs to Hashirama and died with almost nothing accomplished....
