guys i was wondering how madara is making obito perform rinne tensei, then i remembered before madara died he injected his will into a zetsu so half of it was white (hashiramas dna part) the other half was black(madaras will) . while obito was about to perform the jutsu his body went half black and since madara had to put hashiramas dna in obito to enable him to survive i think madara also implanted his will in obito and smehow controlling him? just a thought not sure if anyone alredy made a thread about this

If you look closely at Obito's right arm it has black rods shooting out of it.

They would also technically be the very same concept as the Black Zetsu will you mentioned. Madara is likely combining that planted will stuff with the Rinnegan's natural black rods technique.

The black rods that are coming out of Obito's right side.... these are what Madara is using to control Obito.


The Black rods... also used by Nagato, were made from Madara's hatred... he himself explained it during the flashbacks


With that said, when Obito witnessed Rin's death and went nutz.... the black rods emerged from his right, showcasing that these rod were there from the very start...... it means that Madara had put them there when he put Hashirama's cells inside him.

Madara is now using the black rods just like Pain was with the six paths and how Obito was doing it with the former Jinchurikis..... Obito is currently Madara's puppet.

I was joking.... yes that part IS dubbed as 'Will' but I think he infused part of his personality through some chakra based system ..... just like Minato and Kushina sealed part of the persona inside Naruto's seal. Just like seal itself cld be altered by the infused persona, then the black rod/parts too may exhibit some properties like forcing control on its host long after the preparator is dead.
