As Minato's feats against 8th Gate Gai, this feat of his get denied as much. So, I was wondering if it's the same deal here...

Madara's body transforms into jelly whenever it comes within 50 meters of Obito. I thought that was a well known fact. How else would he take punches from 8 gates guy but still get impaled by a dead guy.

He took hits from Gai as Juubi's host, not as edo madara.
