[Discussion] Madara's black rods

In todays chapter..

We finally saw madara's trump card....what i'm wondering is what madara said about hashi's SM. Didnt madara say that he needs hashi's SM in order for his trump card to work?...I guess it worked.

^^ In this image we can see hashi is using ten seals technique which is basically a sage mode technique, but we cant see sage mode markings on hashi's face.

^^here it shows that madara has started his trump card and hashi is being pierced with black rods.

In conclusion madara pierced hashirama with black rods to absorb his SM chakra thats why hashi lost markings on his face because madara absorbed it..

Am i correct =D ?

it's possible. unlike toad sm, wood sm may not have side effects after absorbed. but it's just theory.. further madara has hashi cells which might have protected madara from the side effects of absorbing sm chakra or may even helped to absorb it.
