No, the OP is actually right.

You are deeply misunderstanding, despite the fact Madara achieved the Rinnegan before death, he still died without it, and therefore should have been revived without the Rinnegan. Yet he was not.

I think its the same reason Itachi was summoned as a Zombie with his eyes, clearly after giving them to Sasuke...
so I think if the DNA of the person has unlocked something that they can clearly regenerate it when summoned as a zombie... if so then Nagato should not have been summoned with Rinningan as a zombie as Nagato didnt unlock the rinningan but was given to him... thats like if Kakashi was summoned and had the Sharingan...

did that make sense?
