He's back, alive and well. Madara is a ninja from another life time, who brought back to life as a zombie then had his life restored. It appears he's lost all forms of sage chakra along with Hashirama's senju DNA, meaning he no longer has rinnegan. Although he's not completely powerless, seeing how he still has EMS. ​

Whats going to happen to him to now?

• Killing Madara doesn't seem realistic and unlikely, unless he poses another threat to everyone.
  
• Letting Madara live among the rest of the ninja in Konoha seems unlikely as well. He hasn't been talk no jutsu'd, so he could go back to plotting on collecting the Bijuu again.
  
• Maybe Hagoromo will take Madara to his time space dimension thing, to prevent him from interfering with the Ninja world.
  
• Maybe Minato will seal him away permanently
  
• Maybe Black Zetsu's betrayal and an explanation from Hagoromo will help him change his ideals.

Nope he will talk to him as a friend believe it, there will not be a ill feeling between them anymore. Hashirama talked even to Edo Madara to friendly and he even said he can'T wait to see his friend again...

Maybe he loves war but his goal was to save humanity from cruelty of reality. I think that he was conscious while being possessed by Kaguya. Even that Maddy lost Hashi face that doesn't mean he doesn't have Senju DNA! When he fused Hashi's meat at himself he gained Senju DNA and at the end of his lifespan he awakened the Rinnegan... Kabuto only added more and because of this he had the Hashi face... But we also forget that BZ stabbed him at the Hashi face so when Madara at the form of Kaguya regenerated where BZ stabbed him maybe then he lost the face... Also Maddy has the Zetsu arm which has Hashi DNA!

Madara gained the rinnegan from getting Hashirama's DNA in his final fight, then he gave away his rinnegan. He unlocked it again after having Hashirama cells implanted into his body by Kabuto, proving that you can both lose and regain the rinnegan. He no longer has Hashirama's face on his chest and its not confirmed if Madara still has the rinnegan or not, thats why I said it, "appears".
