Madara would of died if the Bijuu's use a TBB or if Gaara decided to crush him while he was immobile. Hell Madara should of died when getting smacked around by Giant fucking bijuu, The impact of their hits alone should of shattered every bone in his body. Yet he got up like nothing had happened.

Hell if Sasuke had the brains to use a second amaterasu after Madara took his armor off, he would of most likely of died also.

Plot is keeping madara alive.

Excluding the rude comment at the end, I agree. The story revolves around plot. It's no different than movies, books, etc. Many things could have happened. This is a manga that have been going for like 10 years, it's going to happen. It's just a manga, better writing can be found in books.

That said, I have no problem with criticism or whatever. But I don't think people should be shocked if there are several "plot holes". Of course, sometimes talking about what could have happened can be fun and a catalyst for collective analysis.

Tobirama and all the others are just sitting still as well. Obito could have just taken Naruto when he was a baby, and mostly everyone would have been confused considering there were little that knew of the akatsuki objectives. There's many mistakes. Of course, just because there's many mistakes doesn't mean you should overlook something that's inexcusably stupid (the manga does have to retain logic). However, one could make the argument that he could have absorbed it, especially if it's comprised totally of chakra. Those sand bullets is still comprised of real sand (as far as I'm aware). Theoretically, it's similar to throwing a chakra infused kunai. If the chakra is absorbed, one still have to worry about the kunai. The sand bullet is probably too fast for him to absorb it at a speed where he would no longer have to worry about the dense sand.

The slime is a bit different, however.
