So, I see threads of people fantasizing about a sagemode Madara who rapes everybody, but...this chapter actually made it official that Madara's trumpcard won't work, by having Madara simply explain it in the middle of a chapter.

If Kishi really would have wanted to go down that route, Madara would suddenly appear behind Obito with sage mode and pummel him right at the end of a coming chapter. And Kishi wouldn't have revealed Obito's weakness prior. THEN (=in the next chapter) Madara would explain it.

But the way it is now, there is no twist about it anymore. It's like a James Bond villain talking about his world domination plan, where you always know it won't work...

I lost hope in his endeavors the second Obito became the junchuuriki.

so your explanation to why "madara won't succeed" is "If Kishi really would have wanted to go down that route, Madara would suddenly appear behind Obito with sage mode and pummel him right at the end of a coming chapter" :erm: .............

it won't be a fight and it's not about exploiting a weakness, madara didn't tell obito everything (i think it's obvious by now) looking at how calm/confident he is, he probably got it all covered.

it's his ultimate plan, took his whole life to achieve it, do actually believe that this is it ??

Of course he won't succeed. Naruto has a 110% chance of success in this manga.

Bish don't jinx it. It could've just been for dramatic effect because madara is so confident that he's >>>>>>> hashirama that he doesn't even need to hide it from him + they're besties like testes.

Well no shit he won't succeed, he's the villain. A dead villain at that. No villain ever wins. I disagree with you though that he won't succeed in his efforts with Obito. I do think that he will do something to Obito, it's just clearly not going to work in the long run.

He specifically stated he wants to take Hashirama's Sage mode to stop Obito.

He isn't all that calm and confident, or else he wouldn't keep stating he has to hurry. And the coolness is part of his character, so that's not saying much.

Many things didn't go like he originally planned. His return alone is only a matter of coincidences.

You're so smart. Or not, since I obviously meant his attempt at Obito's place.

i said that he is calm and CONFIDENT about getting back in control U_U.

he knows something that no one else knows (how this started/how to stop it).
so all am saying is, do you think that he didn't predict anything (final outcomes) ?? i mean he gave obito everything from DNA to info to the location of the Rinnegan and explained to him how it all works.

when you make the biggest plan in your life, you have to cover all the angles and i strongly believe that madara didn't tell obito everything (his back up plan).

remember that madara was supposed to be summoned in his old state (with the Rinnegan/senju DNA) meaning the same requirements he currently has to use his trump card.

You are talking about something that is observed in most of the anime's. The good will always win and the evil will not succeed. But looking at the circumstances in the manga, there is a chance madara might succeed.kishimoto was always unique because he always brings out the unexpected.

He doesn't have a "masterplan" for everything. As I said, his original plan got got changed on many occasions. Just think of how his resurrection came about. It was a coincidence, and Madara was completely clueless about what happened.
