Lol. Speculation at its best. Could haves and what not. As far as we know I.T is a planetary genjutsu and always has been. In fact, theres no evidence it can be used any other way. There could have been a moon that got destroyed prior to the new CT moon. Genjutsu gg isnt a valid argument and actually is fairly weak for someone equal to Hagoromo when Madara isnt equal himself.
