Madara explained what was happening and why but he said the one to do this is himself. In the chapter before this one madara seemed surprised that he was starting the genjustu already. i think the plan was to bring madara back somehow and then he becomes teh 10 tail host and starts the genjustu

anyway i think madara will stop him so then he can do the plan himself, what do yall think

That was the plan. But Obito had no intention of following it. But yes, Madara will intervene. I don't think he will 'stop' Obito, so much as he'll be hijacking the ritual. He has no way of returning to a living body, so he can't become the Jinchuuriki himself.

So you think he's going to use the Preta Path to absorb enough chakra or something to come back to life? Sorry, that theory is totally without evidence or any basis at all. Even when Nagato absorbed chakra from Gyuki and Kurama, it only improved his body's physical condition. Not to mention the fact that absorbing a 'body' isn't even among it's abilities.

As it stands, it is impossible for Madara to come back to life. That leaves only one option. He will attempt to take control of the Infinite Tsukiyomi without becoming the host of the Ten-Tails. And it's entirely possible. We already have a prior example of someone controlling a perfect Jinchuuriki.
