so by that logic what is it that madara have to show us that both naruto and sasuke couldn't stop.

Madara time is up and so was his arsenal, probably why kishi decided to switch to kaguya to add more arsenals to the battle.

Madara was never an Akatsuki member. Tobi was. The part about "continuing the story behind Naruto's search for Sasuke, his childhood bestfriend, and Uchiha clan's notorius Akatsuki member, Madara." is talking about Shippuden. The movie continues the story from where Shippuden ends. It isn't confirming Madara lives.

The issue is that if Madara reawakens, he'll still be a force to be reckoned with. Naruto won't have Sasuke's cooperation this time prolly. Also the TB will be totally under Sasuke's command. That puts Nardo and crew at a very serious disadvantage.

Look at my thread that is enough witness that madara will return but more bad ass, him and sasuke will rule the world. Did you see what sasuke said in that picture of him in the movie, he seemed to be in a rush a lot, why? Because madara is waiting for him. Tobidara return will result madara returning from the dead.
