As you can see here, the uchihas eyes are very powerful even we dont know the full capabilities of them, everyone on this base was saying its a plot hole and even when it was told people still didnt believe it.

Even if Uchiha madara eye is not used for izanagi, someone will come after his eyes, if one is able to have access to his eye and makes the izanagi activate at a certain time, he can implant it back to uchiha madara and uchiha madara will be revived back to his prime body.

I think Madz either used Izanagi or used a delayed Izanami on Sasuke. If Madara does come back, I don't think it will be to help Nardo. He may come back and kill Hagoromo though, which frankly would be pretty epic.

I've looked at it and read it. He's dead. Naruto and Hagoromo can sense a person's chakra, and Sasuke and Hagoromo can see a person's chakra with their Rinnegan. If Madara was planning to use Izanagi, they would see chakra building in his eye to perform the technique.

Also, Madara's final words with Hashirama show he's finally ready to die. He's accepted that Hashirama's ideals were better than his, and that he was wrong.
