Madara will fight Hashirama and receive closure

Based on the fact that Madara doesn't give a **** that the juubi is about to get killed/sealed makes me think that the only reason he did this and came up with the eye of the moon plan was for hashirama...But now that hashirama is back he doesn't need to complete it. Just look at how excited he was:

He will fight Hashirama, lose (or win) against him and receive "closure" ala sasori and his soul will be freed, its the only way he can gtf out of here.

Hashirama can't beat Madara by himself. Madara has ALL of his wood style, Rinnegan, and the Rinnegan perks. He is OP I think eventually all the EDO-Kage will put there eyes on him and fight him together.

It's probably even impossible for the "moon's eye plan" to happen, it could be some BS that Madara fed to Obito to have his friendship moment with Hashirama, no idea how he could have calculated all this but if he really did, he's Oro level sick in being the bright mind.

Or it could be that Madara thinks they are unable to defeat the Juubi. Maybe he knows that them giving their all to attack the Juubi will push it into its final state.

While I do think he was looking forward to a rematch with Hashirama, I do not think he will give up his lifelong dream of the Infinite Tsukuyomi just for a rematch with an old friend/enemy.

Probably, but it doesn't matter if Madara wins or not. It's a lose-lose situation. If he wins everyone will still consider him a cheat, because he has hashi cell.
