Mark my words. This manga will not end with Madara's eradication, but rather his redemption. If he is killed Naruto or Sasuke will prove themselves no better than those who came before them. Madara has to survive and live while atoning for his crimes against humanity.

He wont turn away from it, hes just gonna be defeated and before he dies he and hashi have a heart to heart chat. Old school TNJ time, Hashi style. Then he realizes his wrongs, yada yada, Hand shake like the time when they formed the village. Madaras gonna slowly die, look at sasuke and see Izuna and smiles.

If i know Kishi, this is how or something along the lines of this is gonna happen.

Madara was redeemed the moment his backstory was introduced with Hashirama's story to Sasuke. He had good reasons for what he was doing sort of.

Madara redeeming himself would just be flat out sickening. From the very start, he has been portrayed as a heartless villain, who won't allow anyone to stand in the way of his goals. If Kishi decides to do with him as he has done with so many other, seemingly heartless, villains, he will completely and utterly ruin this manga for good.

I am leaning towards this as well. But only because the manga is alluding to Kaguya being the manipulator. If the manga shows that Kaguya somehow cursed Madara, he might just be let off.

The dude has had it out for the world for almost a century. Madara of all people deserves to know true peace since he the most troubled and lost out of all the antagonists. Madara finally finding happiness towards the end of this manga would be epic, no one has more wisdom and knowledge than him.

From the very start, he has been portrayed as a heartless villain, who won't allow anyone to stand in the way of his goals.

I don't know which start you are referring to but the start I witnessed was the one where he and Hashirama wished to build a peaceful and war free era together. No one is born heartless unless you were born as a Zetsu clone.

The first thing we agree on, seems like. However, I don't believe Madara will live. I believe he'll have a hand in taking down Kaguya, realizing he was wrong and redeeming himself in the process.
