I can't shake the feel that it would be a 50/50... (Something tells me Madara only fared as well as he did, because of the Kyuubi under his manipulation/Hashi's feels towards him that he may have used to some degree)... Might have been other factors too... hm.

Then again, Hashi would have a harder time getting the Kyuubi away from Madara's control with that Almight Push, and feats from that Rennigan... am I right ?

I agree. I still don't think that the Rinnegan alone would've been enough for Madara to defeat Hashi. People forget that Hashi clearly never fought Madara with intent to kill, so he always held back, unlike Madara who seemingly went all out every time.

I think the battle between Hashi and Rinnegan Madara would've come down to whether or not Hashi could bring himself to kill Madara. With EMS Madara, Hashi could take him on without having to fight all out no problem, but a Rinnegan Madara (who would also have Mokuton from Hashi's senju dna) would almost certainly force Hashi to have to fight to kill in order to survive.

I doubt Hashi could really bring himself to kill Madara though, so Madara would probably win based off emotions

I always found it unfair that Hashi was born with the sage's body, but Madara and all uchiha have to take senju dna just to unlock the equivalent found in the sage's eyes.

Taking a few strands of hair and some dead skin is a lot easier than taking two eyeballs. I think the Senju got the short end of the stick on that one

The sharingan is not the sage's eyes. The uchiha are born with a watered down version of the sage's son's eyes while the senju are born with his body off the bat. The uchiha have to take senju dna just to get either of the two.

Too bring themselves to their maximized equivalent; whereas Senju get it easier, but have too either relie on a tailed beast, and or (later on most likely) a sage mode. Or if you're a ppure blooded Senju - whatever that face-mark jutsu is... (odd how Uzimaki don't learn that, and or pure Senju don't become Jinchuriki) Hm..

Simply put, no.

Unless he used Deva to bring down meteors, which would indeed be a hairy situation, Madara's PS-Kyuubi far outclassed anything the Rinnegan has.
