Madara worked hard for his plan? Please Obito did all the work, he had to go and find each Tailed Beast when they were scattered across the world, deal with various enemies along the way, manipulate countless people, and so on. Madara was busy taking a dirt nap while Obito did everything. Obito highjacked his plan and took control and the only reason he has a chance at all is because Naruto and the SA pulled the Tailed Beasts out of Obito.

Madara is just a punk.
