What you guys saw that madara defeating hashi. was just a clone.. Don't take clone as strong as the original.

It was a Wood Bunshin, and Madara wasn't fighting to the clone the whole time, actually he never fought against him, he was just fooled.

I kind of subscribe to the theory that Madara's death was actually a genjutsu or something of the sort, since we know he does survive and Hashirama seemed certain he was dead. If this is true then Madara came out on top, but he did have Kurama which makes a substantial difference.

dude seriously what is with you people this week!! it could not have been genjutsu since he had the scar on his chest to prove it! That is where he put the senju dna for christ sake. Scar on the chest=getting stabbed was real which means it wasnt genjutsu. If kishi turns around and that scar on madaras chest that magically looks like hashi didnt come from that stab wound it will be the biggest example of plot no jutsu in the maga to date. Face it madara lost fair and square by being tricked by a wood clone

And my answer to op is no he was not stronger in the end. IF by end you mean in current manga (war arch) then possibly but he obtained that power by stealing senju dna so its not madaras original strength. And madara did not underestimate hashi he had nothing but respect for his abilities, i think he ran out of chakra so his EMS deactiviated and hashi took advantage of it. And in the event that he did turn off his EMS himself because he thought he had won then that makes him an idiot and since intelligence is still apart of strength that still makes hashi stronger. either way you look at it madara was outclassed

Regardless of the fact that the manga tells us Hashirama is superior to Madara on multiple occasions, even after Madara admitted as much himself, you're going to state the opposite, simply because Hashirama restored to a Bunshin Feint to snatch victory?

So for all the fanboys of Hashirama, I understand how it feels, I am a great fan of Hashirama, but Madara actually defeated Hashi, he only lost because he underestimated him in the end. Any thoughts?
