Naruto's tails hardly withstood strikes from Sasuke's Rikudo Susano'o. Madara, who possesses Rikudo's Senjutsu and a higher amount of Rikudo chakra would be tiers above their avatars, downscale them and it stays the same. Rasenshuriken's variants are either outright tanked, and or Madara can repel them with a focused ST.

Even if they merged their avatars, the individual defenses are still so far below Madara's, Susanoo's layer of protection would get busted, and Naruto's to follow. Only way I can see them winning is if Naruto hypothetically transferred his power to Sasuke.

No, Kakashi's addition here is nigh useless, his PS is trash in front of Sasuke's, let alone Madara's. Kakashi's merged Avatar gets cleaved in a heartbeat and don't even try to claim it's tanking Madara's offensive.

Their individual avatars are significantly weaker than Madara's, Sasuke's layer of Susano'o gets torn open and Naruto to follow, the avatars don't combine and multiply in durability, they are simply layered on each other, therefore no significant boost in durability on either end, just a cloak to boost Sasuke and two layers of defense, which don't make a difference here.

Are you implying a singular BDFRS is enough to obliterate Madara's Susano'o? Because that would also imply Sasuke is capable of cleaving through Madara's PS, which is absolutely false. Madara's Susano'o is boosted by Senjutsu and contains Rikudo chakra, so the Goudama properties of the attack are negated, and FRS/Bijudama are what's left, which causes low to moderate damage at it's best. Not to mention Madara can instantly switch with Limbo at will, and let's not forget that Madara and Hashirama somehow survived Quad Juubi TBB without Edo Regen and Madara was shown with just an aura of Susano'o chakra left.

Cloak isn't boosting it to the level where it makes up for the astronomical difference in power their avatars have compared to each other. EMS Madara's PS is Multi Mountain level, capable of slicing the tops of Mokuton hands, and 6-7 mountain tops in one 360° degree swipe, Sasuke's PS is around the level of low mountain level at best without any boosts from Kurama. Scale their avatars up, and we get the same results, except this time, Madara has more Rikudo chakra, and Senjutsu to back it.
