Madara wins. The Rinnegan that Nagato has belongs to him. Even if he did unlock them during his old age he must have learned many things about them. So if Madara possesses the knowledge and he's in his prime body... Nagato will lose.

that's true because he was the original one to master them. Some people don't realize that just because he had them all his life doesn't mean he mastered those eyes. Madara put all the work into those eyes which means he unlocked all the paths and nature transformations.Ex: When jaraiya found out about nagato when he was young and tried to teach them ninjutsu, he already mastered all 5 basic nature transformations. I'm sorry but that takes years to master. He only knew how to use those powers because of the already learned skills madara put into them. So when I hear people say he mastered the rinnegan I say No. He was blessed with those techniques of god and wasted its potential by killing himself just like nagato.

Exactly. Nagato was even told everything about the eyes by Obito, who learned from Madara.
