Itachi thought Tobi was Madara if you put the same Madara that fought Hashirama against Itachi without the ninetails meaning that Madara doesn't have the Rinnegan and take away the ninetails who would win? Itachi is highly skilled in Genjutsu and Taijutsu.. We really don't know how strong Madara was before Edo because with Edo he has had his power amplified and he has the rinnegan he got the rinnegan while he was near death and relying on Hashirama's cells to stay alive after all didn't Hashirama or one of the hokages say Itachi was a greater shinobi than him? If Madara did fight Itachi u have to remember Itachi is really good with Genjutsu so Madara's Susanno wouldn't do much if he was trapped in Itachi's Genjutsu and they both have good Susanno's itachi shield makes it the perfect defense and his sword is like the perfect offense u have to remember orochimaru spent most of his life looking for that sword that alone says its strong now imagine if itachi trapped madara in a genjutsu i don't think madara would really know what to do.

Lets me clear itachis arsenal and its weaknesses

1. Yata doesnt give u protection from all angles only infront of mirror
2. Totsaka only seal still objects moving objects cannot be sealed
3. Bcoz of low stamina itachi cant spam ama n tsuki without building up chakra which takes time and itachi cant spam ama like sasuke does

4. Itachi can maintain susanoo 3 or 4 minutes tops he can only use those weapons when his susanoo completely materilize thats maybe for 2 minutes ? Tell me how itachi can beat madara with any of his arsenal bypassing giant susanoo of Legendary madara

once again itachi is better than madara when it comes to genjutsu so if itachi trapped madara in a genjutsu what good would his susanoo be?

Once more, Madara already has canonical knowledge of the weapons along with their function and would know to stay away. Itachi will pose no threat if at a distance and the bold is merely a hypothetical conjecture in your favor. Maybe you forget that Edo-Madara possesses Mokuton and The Rin'negan, which provides him with various alternatives of finishing Edo itachi as he can simply put him to sleep with Flower Tree world (something itachi has no canonical knowledge of) and finish him off with Ningendō's

, or, Summon the Gedō Mazō and allow it to seal itachi with it's Soul dragon's as wielding the Rin'negan allows the user access to all it's abilities. Itachi stand no chance against Madara whether both Edo's, or Both alive as he is always inferior.

doesn't edo mean unlimited chakra? lol im pretty sure edo itachi would rape madara u guys keep talking about madara's perfect form and how itachi would stand no chance im almost 100% sure when it comes to genjutsu madara lacks it a whole lot bc if he didn't hashirama wouldn't have raped him like he did itachi has more than just the blade hes good with genjutsu and taijutsu after all he is the guy that killed just about his entire clan
