It's possible, since there are still unexplained things left untouched. I think he will explain it in the manga soon when he is talking to the damaged tobi about what tobi needs to do for him since madara saved his life, I think the story of tobi and how he was saved will develop into giving the brief story of How Madara was not killed in the valley of end, about his brother Izuna Uchiha and about the ideals he passes on to tobi and how he will be resurrected later on by what he thought was going to be Nagatos doing.
