I didn't think the Jubbi could die, I thought it had to be sealed in someone or split into the 9 bijuu. Madara has to be able to seal it. Otherwise it would just be a constant beatdown with no end.

If he is alive the Juubi stomps, if he is an Edo then it is a never ending "fight" with Madara constantly getting blown up and regenerating while being unable to even harm the Juubi, but there is no way Madara is winning.

Didnt Madara make the 9 tails his biotch without even breaking a sweat? Didnt Hashirama use the wooden dragon jutsu to single handedly take down the 9 tails? To answer your question if madara can handle the 10 tails then he's as strong as the sage since only the sage managed to seal it inside of him, (he didn't kill it. He HAD to seal it I'm assumming he couldn't kill it) we all know madrara is a mere fraction of the sage so I don't think madara can defeat the 10 tails
