Reason I say this is because Hashirama completely countered the TBB by catching it then sending it back. Also it got caught and suppressed too easily by his wood techniques. By cloaking the Kyuubi in Susano'o, Madara had to succumb to using the unstabilized wheelchair version (one without the full body) to give it some defense. I feel that his regular stabilized PS would have been a much better option for offense and defense. It stands at least 2x taller than the regular Kyuubi and although it doesn't do as much damage, its sword swipe is quicker and doesn't require a ridiculous, vulernable charge time and still does a pretty decent amount of damage (casual swipe shattering two mountains? not bad).

No,the whole reason Madara even sought out Kurama to begin with is because he needed something that can increase his odds during the fight with Hashirama.He would've lost sooner if Kurama was'nt there.

Actually, I never said he would win. I know the they had fight before when he wasn't using it and still lost. I just meant it was more of a burden than a help
