Madara used Izanagi to survive the battle with Hashirama?

In the latest episode, I noticed the Old Madara was lacking an eye. ( which somehow escaped me when I read the manga ).

Now, why would that be? He went into hiding dozens of years ago. Obviously he did not fight anyone and if he did he'd get another Sharingan.

His left eye was intact so having gone blind due to MS usage is out of the picture.

I think it's pretty clear, now. Madara used Izanagi to survive Valley of the End, which is why he lacks an eye.

If he used Izanagi one of his eyes would have been fcked, that clearly isn't the case as Nagato had them both, The Sharingan he had in the flashback wasn't even his.

Is it possible that - He used Iazanagi during the fight, lost an eye, survived, went back and got new Sharigan from his stock, injected Hashis cell and then later he awakened Rinnegan, loaned it to Nagato

No not possible and has already stated by several ppl the reason why. However, if this was a possibility, it still wouldn't work because he would only have that 1 Sharingan. Then consider if it was an MS, which isn't possible base on our info of who all had MS. Then you would have to figure that you would need to take that 1 Sharingan and evolve into an EMS. I'm sure you know the complicated process and how irrational it is for Madara to get to EMS. After all, you need EMS before Rinnegan. Now let's say we throw logic to the wind and say he has is own EMS in one socket and the foreign EMS in his other socket. Wouldn't you think he would have 2 unique looking MS/EMS eyes instead of them both looking the same?

Just not happening sorry haha best to stay with what the manga tells you. Much more rational this way.

hmmm..not entirely convinced with some points..also as per manga facts we know that Uchihas have been cheating death and thats only by using Izanagi!! It will be interesting when Kishi reveals how Madara survived..
