Madara thought of practically everything. First, he stole the First Hokage's cells during their duel and used them to to both gain the Rinnegan and Wood Release kekkei genkai and grow an army of Zetsu, and when he was old and dying passed his Rinnegan on to Nagato so that he could be resurrected with the Rinne Tensei technique once the Ten Tails was revived. He took the mortally wounded Obito Uchiha, named him his successor, and patched him up using Zetsu cells so that if something happened to botch Nagato resurrecting him and/or he was brought back with Edo Tensei, he could simply hijack Obito's Zetsu cells and force him to use Rinne Tensei to fully revive him when the time came to become the Ten Tails' junchuriki. Even when that backfired, his smirk and comment of "I failed, huh..." hinted towards a backup plan: have Black Zetsu hijack Tobi's attempt to use the Rindo Tensei in order to presumably revive the people he had killed and force his student into reviving him instead.

Is this luck?

AN EPIC COUNTER FOR Draphsin:cool:

Madara anticipate ALL AND STILL HAS A BACK-UP WITH ANOTHER BACK-UP "ACE/TRUM CARD"

----that was never-ever been heard-of...... a PRICELESS EPIC FROM A GOD

Not when you speak in a biased manner such as that

No obito = no backup plan

No nagato = no initial plan

No edo tensei = no way to revive himself

So to answer your question, yes it was luck.

Many famous strategists in history ultimately depended on luck, if you count in the luck that they were even born. Adolf Hitler, Napoleon and even Alexander the Great would have died much earlier if they had... a little bad luck on the battle field. Just an arrow or a bullet could have changed everything.

Luck is part of every plan and even part of life. But to say it was luck alone that Madara succeeded is so ignorant and stupid that I must laugh.

But it is the same procedure as every time. I know this discussions from Death Note. Some people say that Light only succeeded because of his luck, others say he's the ultimate mastermind. Why can't it be both?

HA HA HA

This post is full of sh*t and completely irrelevant, goes to show when you're proven wrong you cling to another useless point.

Madara's intelligence has nothing to do with the luck that was presented to him. For example one could be as dumb as a doorknob but they still have an equal chance at winning the lottery or finding money on the floor.

Luck =////////////= intelligence which is what you're trying to disporve, so go ahead & disprove it.

In the meantime ill go grab my popcorn.

*sigh*

I only wanted to say (read carefully) that luck is part of every plan. And to be honest, Madara is not even close to Griffith from Berserk or Johann Liebert from Monster.

Madara planned very well, it's not that hard to see that. Kishimoto is not the best author and Madara is not the best villain, but that doesn't mean that Madara only depended on a lucky star.

Never said he did, but your first post implied (especially after the rhetorical question) that madara planned the whole thing, which is laughable.

Without that luck there, his plan would've failed & that does not depend on intelligence, therefore this thread is moot & your counter is irrelevant as I already know that luck is a part of how plans work.

Dont praise madara's brain for things that he had no control over, such a thing is called "fanboying", maybe "wanking" idk take your pick. ;)

madara anticipate including "luck" and wait for the outcome.. we have already seen it .... ex he trained obito for manipulation which we see through obito manipulating sasuke using a state of gambling in favour to further his plan against konoha iidirect ways for such, still credit to madara...

madara said "am i failure" and calmly wait the outcome and has a smirking face .... he really utilized all and backfires against them without them not knowing/notice--- therefore it is not a just a luck just my two cents

Again: Read carefully. I have never praised Madara for his luck. I praised him for his forethought and his improvization skills, but I would also say that a really good villain would have at least a third backup plan.

It is funny how the Joker at the same time is called a genius by many Batman-Fans, because he gives room for luck. Maybe Madara is similar.

And before I forget it: The stick is really deep in there, isn't it? Ironically, your Avatar is Jack of Blades, one of the worst planners in video game history.

:heh:

Luck you say.. . not entirely true... madara anticipated betrayal from obito hence he left his will ad back up... just incaseobito... played him... and you just saw the outcome.
