Madara Uchiha power

why can madara not be hurt. In rereading the last few chapters(chapter 658 in particular) madara got hit by many attacks from the bijuu and just tanks them. Is madara not just a human being with incredible power. Now that he is alive just one of these attacks should be enough to kill him right? does anybody have an explanation or maybe something I may have missed?

even obito had the ability, the guy got heat by a rasengan and only a few minutes later started to heal...
