[Discussion] Madara: The dumbest smart person ever.

So Madara has planned most of this years in advance, it's a convoluted plot of awesome that boggles the mind.

He's smart enough to do that.

Yet dense enough to throw away legendary ninja tools, that he knows the name of, and thus knows the capabilities of.

It just seems inconsistent of his character...

Maybe you could say it's because he's getting cocky with hew newfound power but just...

It just seems like inconsistent asspull plot stupidity to me. It would take minimal effort on his part to use them or store them or even destroy them.

It almost seems like the newest chapter just doesn't fit the rest of the series, feels so out of place.

Reading this chapter, I was highly disappointed. Madara just drops powerful ninja tools? Agree, major ass pull. Lame, Kishimoto. Seriously lame.

Its a plot asspull. Kishi has admitted he made Madara too powerful. The only thing capable of Sealing him would be the Sages Tools, however i agree with you: Totally inconsistent with his character to disgard these things knowing their potential.

The fact that they landed beside Tenten and Lee (TenTen already previously shown to be capable of weilding the Sages Tools in battle) was yet another plot asspull in my opinion. However... from Kishis perspective, how else will they be able to defeat Madara.

Also ironic that the chapter in which the Kyuubis Yin was stolen by Black Zetsu is the same chapter in which the Tools containing the Chakra of the Nine Tails (Jinkaku, Kinkaku?? Brothers) was dispelled by Madara...

Anyway.. other than that the chapter was ok. Not as bad as everyones making out to be. I was glad to hear SOMEONE mention NEJI again (which is realistic).

for madara who is obssessed with power why would he throw powerfull weapons like that away?

I wholeheartedly agree.....I feel Kishi is doing it only as a means to show his weakness in the guise of arrogance. In all forms maybe....I'd have thought Kishi would make it less obvious...use more tact. My opinion....but he could have had him say. "There is no need for them now" In a calm manner, not "How useless" Doesn't fit his character at all imo. As you say it seems out of place. Maybe....his new power is clouding his judgement? I wasn't too fond of that, but Kishi is....Kishi! XD

I didn't know he admitted it! Nice to know he did though.

I was glad he's not forgotten, but actually disappointed at the context of the mention of Neji, it seemed too playful, especially considering it didn't happen that long ago in terms of the mangas time (though it seems long for us it's not even a day for them right?)

After getting MS, he rarely uses ninjutsu.

Similarly, after getting a new and better power up, madara simply does not want to use those "useless" weapons.

Why to use a pistol if you have access to a rifle?
He have access so6p sword and what not, i doubt he would want to use those weapons.

It was actually character development for madara because it shows how arrogant he is and overlooking such a crucial weapon.

What the title says, I can't believe Kishi made Madara ignorant enough to just spit out his tools and leave them. He knows of Rikudo's power, the smart tactical Madara never would have done this but I see now that he's becoming the 2nd Aizen.

Well He might be the second Aizen, but as Aizen failed and underestimated Urahara, Madara will underestimate Tenten and that will be his doom

what makes u think the tools work on him anyway?

Everything in the manga has weakness and has lmits.

Look at the legendary weapons used by itachi and ocorihmaru.

The sword orocihmaru uses, it was said in part 1 that it could pierce anything but in part 2 he used on 4 tail Naruto and it did nothing but push him back abit.

Itachi's sword was revealed by zetsu to be able to seal something for ever but orcihmaru found a way to get out.

Theses tools will be useless against madara and im basing this on the simple fact that as fans we don't want see a crappy plot device such has legendary tools have any part in stopping the final villain in the story and we want to see madara get stopped by sheer power which would be fun to see rather than watching him get sucked into a bottle.

Madara is the so6p recaination now and the tools are made by this power and should not be stronger than the powers that created them.


The items will just give give Naruto more of the fox's chakra from the cloud sliver and gold brothers.
