If Obito could see what Kakashi saw when Kakashi killed Rin just by being few hundred meters away from Kakashi...

Then Madara should be able to use his Rinnegan if the eye is nearby. (the eye was with white Zetsu 1 meter beneath Madara underground...)

I consider Madara lucky cuz Zetsu made it just in time

P.S. Madara and his eye might've been connected by either senjutsu or chakra!

No, susanoo requires mengekyo sharingan to unlock but it doesn't require it to be performed.
When susanoo was introduced in the series itachi used it without his mengekyo so it wasn't much of a suprise for me that madara can do the same without his eyes.

He plugs in eyes and arms like they're USB cords, and takes hits like they're pebbles and is able to control things if they are close enough.
