I get what you are saying and it sounds like a good idea for surprise attacks (Danzo vs Shisui), but in the case he used Izanagi, with what technique would he have gained the upper hand over Hashi? Taijutsu and Kenjutsu is rather pointless with Hashi's healing capabilities...unless he used Izanami after spawning from Izanagi...Maybe I'm just overthinking the situation...
