Madara did gain a ton of my respect after the trap he pulled on Obito. That was pretty genious.

However, unless the Juubi control has some unbelievable merit

Why would Madara try to revive himself and face everyone on the battlefield as a limited chakra mortal.

He's eventually going to face against an Edo Hashirama for god's sakes

He plans on becoming the Juubi's Jinshuriki. That's by definition not a limited chakra supply.

Because he plans on becoming the jinchuuriki soon after. After that, he's gonna be even stronger than before.

he cant be a jinchuriki with an edo body. and if he becomes the jinchuriki im pretty sure he wont run out of chakra.
like:
- hashirama > madara with kurama
- edo hashirama = / < madara with juubi
