Madara had to balance his 3 Gekkai Genkai powers so obviously he didn't utilize all 3 gekkai genkais to their fullest potential. in fact, he awakened his powers shortly before he died, so he still hasn't fully gotten accustomed to them yet. otherwise give him a couple more fights fighting the 5 kages and he'll be a pro with his powers after a couple of practices.
