Even kishimoto has stated he did not know how to defeat Madara so he came up with the plot no jutsu.

IRL Proof of this after Madara was soloing fodders like Sasuke and the Alliance:

He came up with introducing a new character near the end of the series which was a total abomination called Kaguya which we all had to deal with the pain of reading about for around 4 dreaded weeks.

All in all, Madara is the true solo god and cannot be stopped unless it is because of plot or bs powerups like Sage: Power Up BS No Jutsu.Thank you, and madara solo and trust in madz.​
