Hiruzen may not have had the best political ideas, but he isn't a brutal mindraping sociopathic terrorist the way Itachi is. Hiruzen let Oro go due to him being a former student-you can bet your bottom dollar that if they were strangers, Hiruzen would have killed Oro on the spot!(It's like telling Itachi to kill Sasuke)

That's not an intelligent feat. I doubt Minato could undo the hand seals for releasing Edo Tensei, but apparently Itachi knew it. Itachi has much more intelligence on many things than Minato. He knows more about things than the normal human does.

Dude, you call it torture? He hit him in the stomach one time and said come to me when you become stronger and that's "brutal torture?" He's also not an idiot for that. He was a rogue ninja at the time and nobody really opposed the akatsuki until 4th great ninja war. that was the instructions he followed. Itachi always followed instructions. that doesn't make him an idiot. All the people he took orders from. even before the massacre he could've killed. that was not his intentions. Like said, he only wanted to protect Sasuke until he came to kill him for his eyes. That's why he told him about Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan during their battle. He was waiting for Sasuke to Kill him so he can go back to the leaf and protect it with EMS, Technically still protecting the village.

Yes it was torture. Using Tsukuyomi IS torture . Go and read the manga again(since I don't like posting scans) Then there was the hotel torture when Itachi returned to Konoha(when he tortured Sasuke-again for 24 hours!). And yes, he was an idiot since torturing Sasuke was one of the reasons why he became a supervillain. I won't even mention torturing Kakashi for 72 hours(one of Konoha's top jounin). He was also a villain for trying to make Sasuke a puppet via KA.(none of those things are what smart guys or good guys do) Try again.

I didn't like it at all, honestly. One of the worst chapters 'till date, and it was a huge chunk of meat for the Naruto Manga haters, which is what i hate the most. Of course, every above average Naruto fan's trying to rationalize everything that went on, but it's more than that: this chapter, even to an avid reader like me, just... feels bad. Cringe worthy, actually. Like i'm being sold something that i know's not made right, but i take it anyway. That's why it feels even worse defending it.

I don't understand what Madara, Sasuke or Itachi have to do with this, though...
