SM is only needed against onmyuodon.

Yeah, that's why he was defeated twice, right? And obito has one eye. One single eye to use. Madara has enough sensing skills to dodge obito's atack with kamui and counter in the right time, just like with FTG.

Madara was aware of incoming tobirama, predicting FTG after that was easy. He anticipated it.
