Madara question (SPOILERS)

So what exactly is the advantage of Madara being alive now? What is his goal that he couldn't do as an edo?

Become the jin. He would be a tougher jin to defeat than Obito if he were to achieve that goal

honesty he wants to be the host of the 10 tails and he needs t be alive to do it. that or he can reach more potential or use is full power that we have not seen

Probably going to eat the god fruit since he's alive. but now he can die permanently...

Now that he's alive he can become the Jinchuuriki of the Jyuubi ( which Naruto made easier for him by extracting the Jyuubi from Obito and putting it all in one place I'm assuming). of course Madara doesn't have an unlimited amount of chakra but since he can finally become the holder of the Jyuubi and cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi I don't think it matters (and luckily for him the God tree hasn't been destroyed).
