We'll see Madara again someday if Naruto continues long enough, but for now he's very dead. Personally, I think the story is excellent as is. Madara had his camera time. He's done. It got old. Current Sasuke and Naruto were clearly a match for double rinnegan sage Madara, so the ante had to be upped to something they aren't a match for, hence Kaguya.
