Here Madara implies he's put puppet jutsu on a few people before, including Obito and Rin. He reveals to Obito that this is not the extent of his plan, and that there's something more to it (we haven't been told what yet). This created a plot hook for Madara to return.

Here Kishi shows us the "action" Image in the panel with Madara's stolen Kakashi eye. Black Zetsu's Rinnegan is shown immediately after. Coincidence? I think not. Here Madara laid some sort of trap. He realized for whatever reason that BZ was planning to betray him. We also see Rinbo Madara sealed in the sand.

Here Sasuke sees a future where Madara easily kills Sakura (lol fodder Sakura). He reacts and saves her in time. Goes to figure Madara's Rinnegan may have a similar ability... Madara had one shadow sealed. Four joined in the fight when he used Rinbo. S06P has six paths. These shadows are Madara's six paths. The sixth is a fake Madara held in reserve.

Notice the "tap". This is Madara activating some jutsu that has yet to be revealed. Possibly Izanagi, likely something new or related to whatever he cast on BZ in the other world. Note Sasuke tells us only 4 of Madara's shadows are there. One was sealed by Naruto

The shadows are not shown. The conclusion? Madara has a sixth shadow, one held in reserve. The jutsu is activating it. Real Madara switched places with his shadow, and the shadow got absorbed. It's currently devouring Kaguya from within, so Madara can eat her and steal her power. After that Sasuke or Madara will kill Black Zetsu. Madara is still final villain.

Madara fan at it's finest, madara is done cooked, baked, marinated, he's been BBQ sauce and ranches by black zetsu it's over for him.but that is a plausible theory but why would madara even allow kaguya to take over I guess madara just wants to solo from the inside out. He's admitted it at valley of the end and at war start/kage attack arc. It's a logical fallacy to say that Naruto needs to admit at every stage that he's weaker to Sauce. It's just common sense.

Madara was built up for 400 chapters. Kaguya has been in the story for a handful at best. Tap implies Madara had a failsafe. Anyone expecting Madara to be gone is in for some real disappointment.

Agreed. I think that people are in denial about Madara. He's been a part of the story for 400 chapters, plus the tap exists for a reason. He obviously had some backup plan.
