Surely, Naruto with his amazing sensory abilities would be able to sense Madara from a mile away. Did Tsunade punch Madara and send him flying or something? It's not like the Kage would just let Madara waltz off into the sunset towards Obito ( Not that they would be able to stop Madara )

This does make more sense. He does have Rinnegan. +Reps However, you also have to remember that no one is capable of sensing Zetsu; so I'm assuming that Madara must have some Zetsu spores upon him or due to Hashirama's DNA/Cells.
