Lol for me is even Kid Madara's stone move against Hashirama a better feat as anything that Itachi showed. ...

And after all Marara is not the Ninja who really needs tactic cuz he was "always" the strongest one in a fight

This was something he read off a tablet, while I'm not discounting Madara's feats there is nothing that shows he surpasses Itachi in that regard. That plan was BZ really, and even then Madara relied almost completely on luck for it to work. Just like all his fights. He didn't even have a back up if Obito broke the seal which he did. Itachi would have had a plan ready.

From what I've seen, Itachi hasn't shown many tactical feats, he is completely dependent on his sharingan.

So who edges out?

Madara, he grew up in a time of constant war which honed everyone of his skills. Madara actually killed grown men before he even awakened his Sharingan. He also made plans with backup plans long to accomplish his goals and he set all of that up years before anything was really carried out.

Madara neg diffed the 5 Kage, Kyubi Sage Mode Naruto and EMS Sasuke BEFORE becoming the 10 tails Jin.

Itachi struggled with Hebi Sasuke and DSM Kabuto (the latter he fought as Edo with an indestructible body and unlimited character).

Itachi is better of course. Madara just fights out of anger.

Madara uses brute force in combat most of the time, and his plans generally rely on luck, or not being stabbed in the back.

Itachi has better tactics, but to be fair madara only used power, it usually works for him.

And cut the relying on sharingan bs, every one relies on something.
Especially madara.

Wait the only time itachi used tactics are when he faced nagato. Madara just goes ape shit. They are subpar compared to people like sasuke, kakashi, minato

I think that's primarily because Madara is all about sheer brute force. Hand to hand when he first emerged, giant crushing meteor, susanoo spam for larger scale melee and kinjutsu, limbo for invisible monstrously powerful hand to hand, etc.

Nah I've always seen itachi as the most intelligent uchiha. Madara is more of a mastermind, but he is no where near as genius and calculating as itachi. The only people on par with itachi's intelligence I think is like minato,shikamaru, and shikaku.

this is a list of posts that indicate some rereading of the manga needs to be done. The reality is that there are actually very few characters' who demonstrated the intellect, tactical ability, composure that even comes close to Madara's. One can name whoever they want, and chances are he outsmarted them at some point.

Brute force does not imply mindlessness. He tried to kill an entire battlefield with a meteor, blew up entire villages with the juubi's bijuudama, and sliced off the tops of mountains as nothing more than a display of his susanoo's power, that is absolutely brute force.
