Madara or Itachi, who has better tactical feats?

Itachi had the chibaku tensei analysis feat too.

To be fair, Madara is probably a tactical genius as well but he hasn't shown his analytical skills. He doesn't need to though Lol

this isn't really a good thread. madara only ever used tactics against hashirama because anyone else he just bullies around. why bother making up plans when you can just one shot em?

I think that's primarily because Madara is all about sheer brute force. Hand to hand when he first emerged, giant crushing meteor, susanoo spam for larger scale melee and kinjutsu, limbo for invisible monstrously powerful hand to hand, etc.

Nah I've always seen itachi as the most intelligent uchiha. Madara is more of a mastermind, but he is no where near as genius and calculating as itachi. The only people on par with itachi's intelligence I think is like minato,shikamaru, and shikaku.

Itachi isn't really all that calculating, people just confuse his wisdom as judicious.

I don't think it's dumb luck as much as it is confidence that regardless of what turn the fight takes he has the skills and power to deal with it.

Since you started this, i would like to say that this thread also includes rinnegan (dont know if i spelt that right but whatever..) just cuz he abused that too... so yeah continue..

Itachi, but make no mistake, Madara's sheer power and destructive force would give him the victory. I really believe part of the reason Itachi finished battles so quickly was his declining stamina. Even when he was an edo, he wrapped up the fight pretty quickly. However, this is only if you consider the fact that he had Kabuto under his jutsu pretty early in the fight. Itachi also analyzed Kabuto's movements and predicted his course of action based off quick observations, which is why Kabuto wanked him.

Madara mostly relied on brute force, but he also showed an ability to adapt to opponents very quickly. His biggest weakness, as seen when he becomes host to the ten tails, is he is rather arrogant. His overconfidence in his abilities cost him. Itachi wouldn't have made that mistake.

Madara is beethoven and the battlefield is his sonata. Itachi is no slouch but Madara was born, raised, and thrives in battle.
