from what we've seen in the latest episodes it was shown that hashi was ****ing strong, and again madara has also pointed out the same thing, but then hiruzen has pointed out otherwise, for when hiruzen fought against edo hashi and edo tobirama, he managed to handle them (a shinobi gets stronger as an edo) yet hiruzen raped both of them. And again when oro used edo tensie, hiruzen said edo minato was a bigger threat than edo hashi, so now who should we believe, hiruzen said minato is stronger than hashi and again madara thinks otherwise though madara never met with minato and again we havn't seen much of minato so between hiruzen and madara's saying who should we believe....
Believe no one, they're both liars. Konohamaru can take the 1st and 2nd edos down wit low difficulty. And minato would get pounded by konohamaru's ultimate sexy jutsu.

1st- oro had a weak version of edo tensai. kabuto is the one that mastered it and perfected it with zetsu.
2nd- Oro made 1st and 2nd play with hiruzen and diddnt take it serious.
3rd-(many people haven't realized this) that last coffin couldnt have been minato because he was sealed within the death god when he faught obito and kurama.
4th- Hiruzen only won because of plot. if he had lost to the 2 kages alone, oro would rape the village and they would all be test subjects.
What we've seen from Hiru is that 1/3 of his strength was enough to hold down Hashirama - as well as another 1/3 could hold tobirama, and the last 1/3 could hold oro - all 3 was held from performing hand seals, and thus Hiru sealed them.
It is only realistic that he was strong. I mean Hiru means monkey, and he probably learned a lot from fighting alongside enma for long. So he is pretty strong alright. Splitting in 3 bunshins divided his strength, yet enough to hold them. And this is as an old man.
Now people say that fight can't be counted, since Hashirama appeared weak. Well so did Oro? And this is before the time skip.
After the time skip Oro fights 4 tailed naruto, oro is sick and can't perform hand seals. Yet he appears 10 times stronger than when he fought Hiruzen. My point is, we can only assume that Hiruzen would have an even larger improvement if we saw him fight after the time skip, since this was a sick oro with sealed chakra channels in his arms.
Deducing from this Hiru - even as an old man - was quite terrifying.
Hiruzen was a master of over 1000 Genjutsu's, he Also has a 5 in Genjutsu

He has shown Fire and earth, I would say it's safe to assume he can also use Water, Possibly Wind aswell.

Hiruzen also has Mostly all 5's in his Databook Stats. Only lacking Speed/Strength/Stamina because of his Old age.

Note: Look at the Page, and you see "Sniff", So hirzens sense of Smell must be quite good to be able to find Hashirama and Tobirama while he is blind.

Also when Iruka said he is the strongest Hokage to the students. Hiruzen replied with "Hey, Iruka!! Don't use past tense!!" Hiruzen IMPLIED he that he was the strongest in his prime. Plus Hiruzen was taught by both the 1st and 2nd. He'd probably know about their techniques and how to counter them plus Orochimaru perfected Edo already!
