I dont think Madara was trying to win after he saw the first's jutsu, he already realized he was about to get bitchslapped by a thousand hands so i think later madara is going to reveal that he obtained his dna at the point the fight stopped, he already knew he was gonna lose but his main goal was to get his dna. hashi thinks that he died right after. any ideas?

OT: It's hard to say, Madara is pro at hiding his fear and danger to the situation. He's just too confident and his confidence is the reason for his arrogance. Maybe Madara did only fight for the DNA, I don't know :shrug:
