Madara/Obito/Itachi ignorant?

It seems these three all-knowing characters are ignorant of the Otsutsuki clan's existence. The clan seems to exist across the ocean. Obito with the Kamui couldn't even go across the ocean to see what happens.

probably only madara learned about hagoromo, he didn't have time because when he learned about it with ems it was about the same time he fought hashi to the izanagi (death)

How can he teleport to a place he doesn't know? I would assume, in general, that one can only teleport to places they know the location of.

If he tries teleporting to their land he could just end up in the ocean.

Obito can teleport anywhere. He knew where Sasuke was going so he was able to teleport to him to get him to go to the summit.

That's not ignorance. No one really knew the real details behind the clan bar BZ.

And according to the databook, the clan isn't even composed of real humans... some people translated it as them being alien-like individuals and that the clan doesn't generate from the shinobi world, but the moon.
