Yea the manga also said by Tobi's own words that he was Madara and well look at how that turned out for you. The manga also said that Itachi went crazy and killed his entire clan, well which was not true since he was ordered to do it and by your post above had help doing so. So keep sticking to that story you will learn you are wrong soon enough when Naruto breaks that mask off of Tobi's face.

Well as far as the mask goes. If your twin brother was a mass murdered and no one liked him would you feel comfortable rolling around with your face exposed as people constantly try to kill you or would you cover up and try to go with your plan??
