i keep seeing madara fans saying he deactivated it show me a scan where he did cause he didnt. if u show that dumbass bit in the anime where they messed up with madaras eyes twice then no that was not canon.

If he had to re unlock the rinnegan he had a lot of luck doing it , because he did it exactly when he needed the rinnegan.

We never see him deactivate his rinnegan. That doesn't mean he isn't able to. the only time we see his eyes changing from the rinnegan into something else is here. That may just be what happens to Uchiha eyes if they are extremely fatigued, even if they still have their abilities. The image the above user posted is actually a picture of a wood clones EMS. Not the actual Madara downgrading from the Rinnegan to EMS.

he counted on nagato reviving him even though nagato didnt even know madara existed nor did he know he was supposed to revive him.
he counted on juubito loosing even though he didnt know if juubito would stop messing around and just kill everyone.
got lucky and kabuto revived him.
relied on obito to complete the plan for him even though obito had already said he doesnt trust him. etc

Well you can say it is luck indeed but still everything was well measured.Nagato had his eyes , obito had a cursed seal on his heart so he could not betray him etc etc. There was some luck but mostly everything was well planed in my opinion

You do know Madara used wood clone jutsu which would make the clones with the Rinnegan as well, one deactivated the Rinnegan to EMS to cast a genjutsu

. If you think Madara made clones that had only EMS then that right there shows he can go EMS because you can't accept that to be possible unless he could do it himself since clones can do what the main user can do
